Vacuum Tube Theremin

 

Built in December of 2006 for audition at the 2007 Western Winter Teslathon, this nifty little audio Theremin features 3-12AX7's for the Oscillators and Buffer, a 6BE6 Pentagrid  Converter, a Mercury Vapor Regulator, and genuine matched vintage "Domino Style" Mica Condensers for frequency stability. Designed  with nostalgic looks in mind, the Theremin warms up in less than two minutes and provides great "almost" hands-on interactive entertainment!
